Welcome to the Wetherspoon Apprenticeship Academy. Apprenticeships provide exciting development opportunities to all of our bar, kitchen and hotel teams. They give you the opportunity to learn while you earn – from associates right through to management. Whether you’re new to your role or looking to progress to the next level, we have the perfect training opportunity for you.

With the support of your Lifetime trainer, your manager and colleagues, you will follow a detailed learning plan leading you to achieve a nationally recognised apprenticeship. You will gain practical experience and learn role-specific skills and knowledge to help you to excel in your role, provide fantastic service to your customers, guests and colleagues and be equipped with everything you need to achieve your apprenticeship.

To register your interest, log in to myJDW here and navigate using the menu to find 'Contact us'. Select training as the subject, then select 'I want to register my interest in an apprenticeship' as your second option. After that, follow the on-screen instructions.

The notification of interest is received by the Wetherspoon qualification team which will send further application details to your pub and area manager. If the pub manager approves the application, then you and the pub manager are required to complete the enrolment proposal form and return it to: apprenticeships@jdwetherspoon.co.uk

Once the enrolment proposal form is received, the application information is sent to Lifetime for the next stage.

A Lifetime adviser will be in touch with you (within 48 hours) to discuss eligibility and enrolment. If successful, you will be allocated a Lifetime coach, who will meet you and your manager to get started.
